The Nereids Charms Collection
The Nereids Charms series began in May 2023 as an homage to my daughter Ione, & her Greek heritage. Named after one of the Nereids, Ione has been a source of deep inspiration in my work for the past 18 years.
The Nereids are the daughters of the ancient Greek sea god Nereus, and his wife Doris, an Oceanid. The Nereids were said to be beautiful young maidens, or sea nymphs, and were seen as benevolent figures. They were named after the personifications of the sea (and the land), and were believed to help sailors and fishermen who were lost or in distress.
How to order your Nereids Charm Necklace:
First, visit the Nereids Charm Starter Necklace link below and order either an 18 inch or 20 inch chain, which comes with charm Doris: mother of the nereids.
Next, add as many charms as you like to your cart. All of our charms are made to easily slide on and off the original chain, so you can mix it up day to day. We like to wear 2-4 at a time!
